n. design was founded by award winning creative director Norm Jolin in 2007 after a successful career working in the Toronto design scene for his first 15+ years. When n. design first started, almost every client was a Toronto based business since that is where Norm’s network was established – but after ten years of networking and building relationships within the Durham business community, many of the clients n. design works with today are Durham based companies. With that said, n. design is not limited to only Durham or Toronto based companies. We are an international company when it comes to building great brands and websites for our clients. Because of the advancements in technology, we don’t have to be in the same city as our clients which is why we have had the opportunity to work with businesses throughout Canada and the United States! Graduated from Durham Collage for Graphic Design in 2003 and went on to do two Web Programming and Design courses through Humber Collage and Toronto Image Works. Since then, she has worked as a Graphic Designer in both corporate and studio settings as well as a Marketing Coordinator.
She just joined the n. design team in March 2021 and is very excited for the opportunity.

A graphic designer that started as an intern with n. design at the beginning of 2018 and was hired by n. design at the completion of her internship.
Katlyn is a graduate of the Durham College Graphic Design Program and was awarded the Visual Art Diploma in her high school special arts program.

Graduated with honours from the graphic design program at Durham College in 1992. He has held Creative Director and Design Director level positions for several reputable design agencies before creating n. design in 2007.
Norm is a member of the Registered Graphic Designers of Ontario since 1998. He has specialized as a brand expert for over 20 years and his work has won multiple industry awards. He has co-authored a book for entrepreneurs and has been a guest speaker at multiple business events talking about branding and brand strategy.
